CORA, THE AIR TAXI Cora is an electric futuristic flying car which looks like a one-seater airplane. It has wings studded with small upward-facing propellers that allow it to take off and land vertically like a chopper. Cora is a product of Kittyhawk and the project is funded and backed by Google co-founder Larry Page. The images are of the prototypes. Kittyhawk describes their product as an air taxi.Cora is electric and environmental friendly. It can go for about 60 miles (100km) on one charge. Cora can travel up to 110mph (180kmph) and rises to an altitude between 500-3000feet (150m-910m).It can carry passengers. The prototype is being tested in New Zealand and is expected to be fully functional as an air taxi by the year 2050.
